Can you tell me how this is accomplished?

Is this normally done by boring a new hole and adding a knob, replacing an existing single-purpose knob with a stacked knob, or something else entirely?

I'd send it to Carl and hive him install it. He drills a new hole and adds the knob, and wires it up.

I am very excited, this will be my first real passive P.
So far I have played JJs (90% of the time) and recently a Sad PJ.

Great sound and clip. I've never heard this artist before, thanks for sharing.
It sounds muted (with string mute, but I see none) with a slight envelope filter attached....which sounds great with the staccato styling he employs while muting.

I think he is finger muting.....cool sound!

Well, I'm in the market for another 55-02 it seems. I miss the two I owned in the past. Still loving my DJ's, but am moving one of them to help fund the 55-02. There's just something special about that mid-complexity with the J/MM config. Anyone that knows of a 55-02 for sale or trade, please let me know!

which neck and pickup did you get?

I went for RW and the Nordstrand NP as I have a Nordstrand P in my Sadowsky PJ and used to have Nordies in my MV5.

I really loke these PUs.

Still waiting on my 34" 5594. I was told they cut the wrong bodies for the necks. Lak cut 35" instead of 34" bodies. Man, I don't know how long the wait will be. I've been playing a 4 string and I'm really fiending for a 5 string! Ahhhh! Oh well.
