I just sold a (very old) car and the money is going towards replacing windows in the house....TRIED to talk my wife into letting me get a Lakie but nope.....I guess I gotta be happy with my collection to date (and I am!)

6+ pages in 17 days......that is almost 3 days per page...much different than the days where it might have been 3+ pages per day!

I ahve to go back and look at the pics of my first bass (I do not have any closeups!)...it was a very poor HB...MIGHT have been a Harmony...need to look...back then I did not pay attention to what I had...bought it for $50 at a store called "record head"...they sold used LPs and VERY used instruments...BUT one smell when you walked into the place made you wonder what their "real" product was..... ;)

Indeed I love my 55-01 and it sounds really good, fat and warm, but I guess ther´s a Chance to upgrade th Bass, so that it´s sounding even better.

I´d like to swap the MK-1 Pickups for some Nordstrand PU´s and also the MK-1 Preamp for another.

Thought about a Glockenklang 3-Way Preamp, wich would be a nice Upgrade, I think, and it´s easy available here in Germany.

But wich you would swap first? I have to do it Step by Step. Change the Pickups first, or shall I swap the Preamp first?

Cool! Looking forward to it. Photobucket and other hosting sites will do the trick without a membership, although I certainly encourage everyone to support TB.:)
