Hey guys, just recorded this last night and thought I should probably post it here :p

A little Reggae jam on my Lakland 44-60 custom.. nothing serious, just for fun. I know I always like seeing/hearing Laklands in action, so..

I'm listening to it now--sounds really good, man! I like me some reggae. If I hadn't read the video description, I would've sworn you had flats on there--must have had the tone knob cranked down.:)

Thanks for the comments everyone!

And I had the tone cranked way down, but I also used a foam mute, so that's where that sound is coming from.

Great Regae!

But... Oh man I can't believe your UPS story! And, I'm 99% sure that Lakland does NOT insure their shipments. I was told (by Brian IIRC) that you'd never get your money anyways. Their packing stipulations are so insane (like 6" of padding all around, dbl box etc) that nobody follows them, so no refund :-/.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

So sorry man!

I have a "like new" Skyline JO5 CS Tobacco Burst if interested...

I disagree with UPS Claims. I shipped a rear bumper to someone in Cali several years ago. Simply wrapped it in newspaper and bubble wrap. Added insurance at the UPS hub (not store) here in town. They totally damaged the bumper. IT took several weeks to get the money I insured it for, but I got it. Sure they asked how it was packaged... I simply stated that the clerk saw the package and sold me the insurance, I wasn't playing that game. She was the one that told me I was good to go with the way it was packaged.

Never give up. Besides, All UPS packages receive $100 of coverage by default, not much when it comes to replacing a neck. However, $100 is $100 more than nothing.

If you have not already done so, call and report the damage ASAP!
