I'm 21, but I won a quiz on national tv about a year and a half ago, that's where I bought this bass from :)

Im back fellas. Bought back a 55-01 I sold a few months ago and got a log bass today! It has been a good weekend.

Hi

As a new member of LOG, I'm hearing alot about Nordstrand pickups as replacement options....

Can anyone give me an idea as to what these pickups offer that might be different than the stock pickups on a 55-94???

This showed up on Tuesday - this an iPhone pic. My first new Bass in about 20 years. Action is stupid low. It is one of the nicest Basses I've ever had. B string is floppy and rattling against the neck so it needs some adjustment. The final Bass is not what I ordered - so I am taking points off for that and seeing if it can b taken care of. Just beautiful otherwise. The pups are Neo's by the way. Due to work commitments I have not had any real time to spend - but first impressions are stunning. : )

Is that a LOG bass with a tort pg and a J pickup?? Nice!

Well, it's very pretty, that's for sure. I'm pretty sure that you're going to love it once it's been adjusted.

What did you originally order?

Are the chi sonics an option to upgrade a JO with as a drop in, or do they require some routing work? What tonal differences do they bring compared to the admittedly great sounding stock pups?
