Here's my Lakkie with its magnificent brothers:

The Fender and Lakland are both supposed to be called "white".

I see an OCD theme developing!

"white" can be so many different things!!!

I love aged white...JJ had a JO that he called "banana cream" with good reason....I loved that one....well, the pictures of that one anyways....

any idea where that is JJ?

Frank Russell was at the last Lakland/LOG GTG as well...GREAT guy!

I love stacked knobs....would have them on all of my double pickup passive basses if I could!!!

you will like the enhanced variabilty....

Mr. John Pirruccello and Lakland were here for our morning sales meeting. It was great meeting him as well as Frank Russell who did a clinic with Norm Stockton last night.

I mentioned to John that I had a skyline 55-60 with Chi-Sonics I was waiting on and how it was going to be a couple weeks because they were currently out of the slim single-coil pickup. He mentioned that I could get the stacked control knobs like the US model in my skyline, so now that's what's going to be installed in my bass while I'm waiting for the pickups to be finished. I'm stoked! :bassist:

wait a little longer.....get the ENTIRE family in the picture.....

??Entire??

I do have a custom guard coming for my 44-02 that I should wait on :-).

Other than that, no new Lakies in the works... Does that mean I have permission to post pics of my non-Laklands in my family shot?

Spencer Pyne had it for a while. Wish I'd just swapped the Fralins for some Lakland Js instead of getting rid of her.

nice floor Luke!!! we'll call that the "Markus pose"....or Markus Prose for those of you who are english majors...

"had"? do you have an "after pic"? (without the costume I mean.....that is the only other picture I have seen of you....)

Here's a couple of pics during/after the shaving. I was Friar Tuck for a day, then shaved it all off. I can't find a complete shavedhead at the moment

+10000.....you might be able to trade the 4-94 for a 55-64 and some cash....you can come out ahead on the deal....

some LOG basses are on the market now.....

I've thought about doing something crazy like that but I can never bring myself to do it. "Shirley" has some cosmetic damage from a car fire we survived together 6 years ago, so she is definitely not as 'desirable' to other people as I would think... unless there is a market for relic'd laklands that I'm unaware of :eyebrow:

Besides, she and I have been through so much together, it would be like losing a limb if I ever sold or traded away.
