I stand corrected, but I was actually accenting the 'head luthier' part![]()
yup....He is THE MAN!!!!
He's got the Neo Hanson in his sunburst US PJ and the vintage Hanson P pickup in his LOG bass. Told me this afternoon he's totally digging the vintage right now.
yupper....love them BOTH...different flava's.....kinda like Chocolate and buttery pecan....both GREAT...just differnet for differnet moods....
oh, he's got all of the best in his herd... that's cool, I hope every one gets her playing, they deserve it oh so much.
my (former John's) LOG bass also has a Hanson Vintage. I was thinking if I should change it for a Neo P but then decided to leave it where it is. I think I'll be having enough clarity available from the bridge J and from the LH pre pedal
I think you will love the sounds you will get ...LEAVE IT!
it's just a bass - if the board moves, I'll just have it worked on.This is a truly wonderful instrument. Family portrait to come . . .
1) NO IT IS NOT!!!! that is MORE than "just a bass"
2) cannot wait to see a new family pic!
Spent a few hours with the new bass yesterday. Overall, I love it. One question about the LH3: The high boost/cut seems very subtle, much more so than what I hear on my Ibanez SR600 (Barts). Am I right on that? I like it, it just took a little attention to her what it was doing. Haven't cracked the case yet to tweak the mid-boost freq. That's next weekend...
when you say "subtle" - what do you mean? do you mean little variance between full off and full on?
tweak the mids...who knows where this one is set....it WILL effect the highs as well...have fun!
