Uuuughh...Another bass for us to be jealous of! Best of luck with her, she's beautiful:)

On a side note, does anyone know how common US fretless Glaubs are on the used market? I have a Fretless Ric that I love, but I'm dying for that Juan Alderete fretless P sound...might as well do it with a Lakie!

Juan uses a fretless DJ with a p pickup at the neck... he used to use a fretless Fender P/J, but the j pickup was aftermarket

No problem! And i forgot to mention that as a general rule I don't like sparkle/metallic flake finishes.

This, however, is on another level.

I think it's the only 'elegant' (IMO) sparkle finish I've seen, or at least in recent memory. No offense to the guys who love their sparkly basses! :D ;)

Thanks! Yeah...I wanted to hit the mark right in between flashy sparkle and not.

I've been around a LOT of Laklands over the past four years, and I pay special attention to P basses since they're my favorites. I hate to say it, but I have yet to see a fretless one.
