ooooo that's hot.I JUST about 30 mins ago bought my first Lakland.
It is a U.S.A. 44-07
Should arrive on the FedEx truck a day or two before Christmas!

Been gassing over the U.S.A. Laklands for awhile now.
Finally get to see what it is all about in a week.

Yes I did recall talking about your Laklands back when I purchased that Classic Ray from ya.
That was a stunning bass, I often wish I kept it.
Thus the reasoning behind ALMOST picking up that EL Dorado Gold Classic I mentioned today.
But then along came this Lakland...annnnd.....hahaha!!

Can't wait for my new 55-02 to come in. In about 10 days, I'm gonna post some side-by-side action of two of the finest quilt top 55-02s out there. My amber quilt top rivals many US 55-94s, and my newest cherry burst is damn sexy, too! Ah hell, I'll post the cherry one now for the hell of it.
This one, the quilt is a little more subtle than on my amber. Makes deciding which one I keep all the harder... of course, this one is also closer to 9 lbs while the other is 10.

yeah, i'm feeling the pain too. been on the lookout for a nice P, but low funds have me looker at other, lesser brands (ones that start with "F" and end with "ender")
however, on the bright side, I've got TI Super Alloys on my Decade, TI Jazz Flats on my JO (or 44-60, if i must), and a fairly satisfying rig behind me (which explains my absence) so life isn't all that bad
some of the Ambers have sick quilting for sure!!!

I'm partial to the cherry burst myself. Photographs nicely.
Note how my photographer friend somehow got the Lakland brand to be clear, while everything else was blurry. I should be an endorser.
(Though, I also note that the top on my bass in this shot could be flaming crotch maple

I think she arrives on Santas sleigh on Christmas eve? Maybe the day before if lucky? Get tracking number for Fedex ground on Monday.
She has a long trek from the Colorado mtns to the streets of New Yawk. Fingers and eyeballs firmly crossed she travels safely

Welcome Dan (mrfstop) to the Lakland family. I personally feel good that I was partly enabling for your lakland transaction. My two fav brands are well represented now at my house.
