I went for one off basses right from the git go.
hahahah!! :)

The decade is one off, due to it being firemist Gold...only one in that color special order by Ian.

The DJ is on off...the only one made when built with Chi buckers...

The others are really rare and the last one remaining on the down low is SUPER rare....heheheheh wink wink nudge nudge...

Doing this right...
I for sure will put this on cruise control for awhile after this last one comes in in a few weeks.

I love my other basses from other mfgs...and would not want to HAVE to roll them to buy more laklands right away...

I am good....and sorta sane? :hiding:

Well...my JOCS with and Audere is a flame thrower...

...but he already has humbuckers and active.

Yeah, I imagine it'll sound pretty similar to the Darkstars after the transplant. Still retaining the nice fat lows but maybe a bit more clarity.

I never truly got a sense of how it sounded with singles, even though it had the push/pull single-coil mode, since the bridge pickup was bugged out.

Owning both a switchable humbucker HB and now a single coil HB...I much prefer the singles.

Yep more clarity.
My 44-07 with dual active chi buckers is amazing ...tons of clarity.
I hope someday to score another 44-07.
Amazing bass...Active chi buckers rule the roost IMO :)

Ahh, well to clarify, I'm moving from passive chi buckers to passive chi singles in my HB.

The bridge pickup had been acting-up on me, so in trying to get it replaced, it was suggested that I make the switch to singles for both the neck and the bridge pickups.

I still am too new to the brand to know which I like best...sure I will figure it out at some point.
