Thanks Greg!
I honestly do not know what a "dream bass" might be?
I mean maybe designing a body style..a headstock...some exotic crazy woods...who knows?
But as far as building a cool one off US Lakland goes?
I can see it at some point.
Just need time to think and like what? $3,500 - $3,800? hahaha!! :eyebrow: yowza.
That sounds like a good plan, Dan. Take your time...Price will depend on the model and options, as well as how good of a deal your dealer can cut, of course. But unless it's a Glaub with no blocks or matching headstock, expect to pay at least $3k.

NBD :D
Saw THOSE words, good to go.
"out for delivery"
BIG thanks to my friend Projectapollo!

US Darryl Jones with factory humbucking Chisonics - passive.
White binding, White pearloid marker blocks and guard.
Insanely figured Birdseye maple board.
Complete with what else? A WHITE CASE....LOL :)
Time to locate a 50's baby blue tux and a white 59 Caddy :bassist:

You can't judge a Pantone color by what it looks like on screen. All kinds of variables (color modes, screen temp, lighting in room, graphics card, type of monitor, etc, etc.) You need to look at a Pantone book in person.

Pat gets his colors from car paint suppliers so you can tell him Ferrari Red.

Thanks "Black Bart" and Markus.
For now I am biting my finger nails awaiting the fedex guy today and tomorrow.
Waiting on the DJ today and the _ _ _ _ _ _ tomorrow :hiding:
Once the dust clears from this 40 day whirlwind...
Then I can TRY to talk myself into rolling yet another 3 basses to lay out the cha ching for the Ferrari red special order. :eyebrow:

You know it never ends, right?

No it does not. I may pick up a LOG when I return from vacation, and my charcoal silver DJ will come out of the first march/april run. I'm considering moving my cherryburst 02, but i'm going to give it one more shot with a full setup and new DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams, which I have fallen in love with on my 01.

BTW. There is a wicked, three CS decade in the classifieds. 3 Chi Sonics! Whoa.

Yep, but was just having some fun. And from having done print work needing that particular color, I know it is closest to PMS 185C or 186C :P

FEDEX did the deed...Delivered the DJ in tact.
