Funny, my son texted from his friends house ....2 houses down my street not long ago, telling me to turn down my rig.
He and his friend were in the basement playing video games and they could clearly hear me playing 2 houses down ....in the BASEMENT!!!

You guys are letting me down, here. Smoke bombs Closed down our Métro ( er... 'subway?') system this morning, so I had to try to find a bus that wasn't packed to the gills. I figured that, while I waited, I'd catch up on TB and this thread specifically.

This thread needs an early-morning shift; almost nothing happened around here after I went to bed last night. Sheesh! Thanks for *not* saving my morning.

yup....the issue was that the 5ers were "shorting out" with the chrome covers. They could not seem to fix this consistently and sometimes the issue would not show up until after the pickup was sealed...it then had to be thrown away..wasting alot of time and materials.

They cannot seem to figure out a way to fit the humbuckers into the existing pickup covers yet....the coils are too large.

lets hope the 55-07 is not "dead"...just in suspension for now...

I went to a VERY conservative Christian college in Western New York - no drinking dancing or smoking; any of those would get you kicked out of the school. So, of course I ducked out and went to all of the Talas shows I could!

Yea being I grew up in upstate, NY, Talas was in my town many times each year.
And I went to EVERY gig.
And always pushed to the front row in front of Sheehan!
Funny hearing some of the songs he recorded with Roth and Steve Vy on "Eat em and Smile" and remembering Tala playing them years before in clubs.

NAH, screw the neighbors...
They are mowing lawns on Sunday morning at like 7:30am...
so me playing my loud obnoxious bass mid afternoon on a weekday never hurt.

But I feel a bit bad for my pooch.
But he goes to the 1st floor of the house and goes to the other end of the house and hangs out till I am done playing....Guessing it is not that bad for him there.

My beast Sexual Chocolate (5 string) and my Chi prototype Decade w/ a 55 body (Shadowfax was it's name) both had a Chi-bucker die. But they were/are both equipped w/ early pups in MM cases and were repaired or replaced.... can't remember. Anyways, it's something to think about. If a chrome cased 5er p'up dies, well.... you're SOL or you can get a MM-cased replacement, unless they get the problem permanently resolved.
