Actually - that's what I'm experimenting with my old strings for - jewelry.
Bass. But thought about jewelry with old strings too, but not for this application. The jewelry for this setup has to be slightly over the top.

I keep getting warned about going to close the edge of too far.

You've seen my videos, I think. The only one of these that's really my style is the last one. Simple clothes, bare feet, understated everything except the bass......and that special ooze of mmmmhmmmmm.....that's what I'm talking about.

Hey gang! Thought I'd share this with you all... One of my bands played a gig last night and in addition to doing a multitrack live recording (which we always do at this particular spot), we set up a bunch of cameras to try and compile a music video or two. I set up a 'basscam' shot like I'd done in the past and this was one of the tunes that turned out fairly well in terms of footage. This will probably end up in a larger compilation synced with the full-fidelity recording down the road, but for now you get the jist of it.
I was a little too close to the camera at first to actually see the bass in the shot well, but then I corrected my positioning. Played my 44-02 Deluxe and it rocked as always...

yikes...after not logging in all day, I check the Lakland club thread and Markus is giving fashion pointers and there are pics of accessories all over the place???? hahahaha!! me oh my oh....I thought I landed on macys website at first?
He was doing pretty good for the most part, too. I'm just not a slave to fashion. I found my jewelry......but I couldn't post those out in the open forum. Too....um....much. But, Markus approves.

This still is a cool bass.....and that green color kinda grows on ya. But I still definitely think it needs a hat.
