Thanks guys. Oh yes, only today and then waiting for delivery tomorrow to go before the one bass to rule them all arrives :D

my precious.....:D

I received the rest of my cabs today...this is the entire rig...for now, until I find the JO that I want. This is the BEST sounding and versatile amp, bass, cab combination that I have ever encountered.

ahh....one issue...we need PICS!!!

Here is a pic from a clinic I attended with Lakland Endorser Frank Russell. He brought his whole band with him, and it was an amazing show. It was a pretty special night for him, because it was his first official night I think as a Lakland endorser. (It was either the first night with either Lakland or GK, but the Lakland president was there and introduced him, and there were about 7 new Lakland basses on stage Frank later was taking pictures with, so I am pretty sure it was Lakland that just made it official). After the show, I happened to have my Lakland and MTD in the car, which was perfect, as it was a Norm Stockton clinic as well. So I got a pic with Norm with our MTD 535's, and a pic with Frank with our 55-94's. Awesome evening!

Dan is not cheap, he's simply assessing the liquidity of his assets in order to facilitate a necessary purchase for the benefit of his business.

Had a little visit with Doug last night and he got to spend some time with the Lakness Monster.

Crazy how the color looks in different light. EDIT: On the bass that is.

HAHAHAHA!! " Dorts"
Doude will never live down the "Dorts".

Alright guys, let's not turn this into another Doude bashing fest ;) But yes, he knows the Dorts will go down in infamy!

I have to tell you, even Doug was quite impressed with the build quality on the Lakness Monster and he couldn't believe just how light it was. I'm still getting used to it myself as I'm used to a certain "heft" when I go to pick up a bass. I have to watch it with this one, lest I exert too much force and bash the headstock into the ceiling. :D

I hear ya on that one! My hollowbody and 44-94 made my jaw drop. they just fit together in a way that makes them jell. Like...OK...this is perfect!

I know exactly what you mean. When I picked it up for the first time, I thought to myself, "what is this non-mediocrity I hold before me?"

I'm jealous. Seriously jealous.

There you are! I was just asking Doug last night if he had seen you around the boards. Good to see you back in this neck of the woods :)
