All 4 of my Lakies are Skylines and once I have them setup, the necks don't move. As much as the humidity rises and falls here in the winter, you would expect the need an adjustment, but mine are stable. (knock on wood)

My new skyline DJ acquisition is complete!
Originally white pg and black pup covers. The pg is officially matte black. It came with an unexpected white layer, but it looks great. Very pleased.
Further note: the strap and string thread matches quite nicely

So jealous! The TBer who had that mod done lives in Chicago, but we never had a chance to hook up so I could demo it.It's totally worth it! I lucked out and it already had the third pickup added when I bought it (two owners ago it was sent to Lakland to have it professionally installed. Very cool). I seriously wish Lakland would offer a version of the Decade with 3 pickups, because it really takes an already great bass to the next level. Tweaking around a bit I can get it to sound almost like a P, I can get some really growly J-like sounds from the bridge, the neck can pull off some Gibson-esque tones. I honestly don't even have to switch basses in my set anymore, except for the one song that I play fretless on (my defretted MIM Jazz with Ken Smith Slicks comes to the rescue on that song)
Jaquo III-X has a US Lakland with a 4-94 body that has three single-coil Chis in the smaller housing. It's an amazing and beautiful bass.
One thing I discovered after buying that Classic Ray, Dan, is that I didn't like transitioning from Lakland's small frets (which I really love) to the EBMM's bigger ones. Just a personal preference, I guess.Oh yeah?
I have whittled my EBMM number way down too.
Went from like 12 or more of them in a few years down to only 3 I have now.
Lakland was mainly the reason for my liquidating them.
I sold off my 2 US Lakland passives...
I like the active Laklands ...
The US Scheff is becoming my favorite of the bunch I think.

the app itself seems to work fine, it's just the graphics such as the app icon looks really bad on my iPhone.

OK, I'm in - the 35" P Lak arrived as the result of my trading my Fender Jazz. Here are some pics. I know there are LOG members who know this bass, which was a LOG build.
Very nice bass - gonna put flats on it and raise the action a little, though, and see where I go from there.

The app icon is the same except it looks like it has a shine or glare effect on it - like it was made of plastic or something. And yeah the load screen is stretched. Wonder if that has something to so with iPhone 5 compatibility?

I just bought a Lakland Skyline 44-02.
After playing it for two days all I can say is WOW!
I had no idea how great these instruments are.
Now I get it.
What a sweet piece of gear.
