They're up to D & perhaps beyond by now. This is a US Lakland I had a couple years back.

So I wonder why some are shipping with Rev A? The two I saw didn't have that sticker on the board, but in that picture the PCB still says Rev A on it. Guessing the stickers just weren't applied to some.

Just realized that I'm missing a P Bass in my collection and sound. I'm currently looking for a Skyline 44-54 Vintage P.

I would sell my RC stuff locally, I'd lose money but that's the nature of RC.

I would probably sell a US Lakland on the auction site and open it to overseas buyers.... if I wanted to break even or make some $$. But, selling a US Lakland is the last thing I'd wanna do! I've got other gear that could go before I'd do that .

Have you guys ever seen a 4/55 series US bass with nothing but a P pickup in it? I'm wondering if Lakland would build something like this for me. The one thing I've always disliked about P basses is the inaccessibility of the upper frets.

I remember a gold 44-94 in a PJ configuration that was for sale here a few years ago. They'll make that body style as a Jazz. I'd imagine they'd do it as a P as well.

That wasn't my experience. They told me know when I asked about a 4476.

You mean they wouldn't build you a 44-76 though they've built 55-76's? Was this before or after the change of ownership?

If I get serious about it, I'll definitely ask Lakland for a definitive answer. At this point, I'm just noodling thoughts in my head.

About a month ago I had a phone convo. Axed about them doing a US four banger 76 for me and got a polite - Sorry but no......

Just texted JP..and he says...yes...they can make a 44-76...just need to check into availability of Basslines pickup.
