Yikes! Good Luck with that. With more rain coming up there I think I would move my basses to higher ground, just in case.

Thanks...all is good in da basement! Drying out nicely. The way we are situated I highly doubt the water would get high enough to cause damage to my basses as 6 out of the 11 are hanging.....

Dealing with water seepage in the basement like everyone else in Chicagoland.
My practice amp is buried behind other crap we've moved out of harm's way so I won't be able to hear it amplified until Sunday at practice!

Bought this Skyline Hollowbody recently. Previous owner had the fingerboard with frets replaced with this fretless ebonol fingerboard, dots on the side. Strung with labella tapewounds which make this bass sound really uprightish.

Markus, every time I see your Markus orange bass I want one the same color. And, I want to paint my house Markus orange, and get a Markus orange Tabby cat, and most of all, a Marks orange hardwood floor in the house.

It's an ash body with ChiSonics. It started as a Natural bass with standard J pickups, and was my first US Lakland. I decided I wanted to add some color, and add Chisonics so I did some photoshop mockups and sent it to Lakland. They routed the pickups and sent it to Pat Wilkins, he is the guy who dose the finishing of the US Laklands. I worked with Pat to get the color down over the phone, sent him some mockups, and he nailed the color! Got is back and I hit the floor! After I woke up, I was talking to Dan Lakin about the bass, and he told me he wanted to offer the color as an option and call it Markus Orange. I'm honored that he picked that name for it, and the rest is history!

Well I listed 4 basses for sale...
The buckeye burl was listed first and still has not sold.

Listed two lower priced ( other brand ) basses last night and they sold instantly...
The 3rd ( other brand ) is about to sell it looks like.........
leaving me with that buckeye Burl which listed first.

Either people out there cannot cough the asking price in this rotten Obamaconomy?
Or it is gods way of telling me to KEEP THE DAMN BURL BASS YOU FOOL??????
