#3? Man, maybe I should do more work...

I guess I should too!

I'm unimpressively average...... sounds about right.:(

LOL....that is my playing style..."unimpressively average"

Damn nice pair!!:bassist:

agreed,.....

That's what she said.

Had to do it.

OYE!

hahaha knew someone would.
I was thinking more like that is what he said to her? :hiding:

oye--listen, listen up, listen here. Any one of those. Pronounce oh-yai or oh-jai, depending on the specific dialect of spanish the person is speaking.

oy--—used especially to express exasperation or dismay <oy, what a mess>Yiddish

I'm here to help.:D

you linguist you!

I meant it in the "Yiddish sense"....

Thanks!

That's an old song
We are covering Dennis Brown's version

Man it's late just got back from the Rush show in AC
They played 3 hours!
They ended with 2112

Geddy is the man!

I saw RUSH the last time they were in Chicago ...not long ago...they ended with a bunch of new stuff from the new album...OK but not great IMHO...did they have the strings there? nice to see them touring with a string section....

We were way up ...could have seen MUCH better on the HD DVD sitting at home...drinking a beverage of my choice (MUCH cheaper than at the arena) and not having to smell "not so good" pot the entire evening....

...and would have saved like $100

I am getting to old for concerts....

BUT - like you say...Geddy is GREAT!

Not all Laklands, but I pulled some out of the cases to go into the rack I just bought.

wow...REALLY nice collection! I see what you mean about the 44-64 custom....more of a light blue....sits well in the collection and looks GREAT with the new pickguard....IMHO!

Yeah they had the string section which sounded good on the new album
But was kinda cheesy when they played YYZ
Glad they didn't use it for the 2112 encore

The arena at the casino was small, maybe 6000
So we could see real well
We were like 25 rows back
And yeah the smell of bad pot was everywhere

I like the new album
First one in like thirty years that I actually got in to
glad I went because I probably won't get out to see them again
Lots of other great musicians to go see

Yup, that's the new 44-64 LE. Looks pretty sweet with the PG, notice I got a black PG for the ice blue chi too! Gecko, that bass on the left is a custom painted parts bass. It's color changer paint that goes from blue to green. I have it for sale in the classifieds... Wait till you all see what I just traded for now....

So,, decision time!

Do I get a custom pickguard made up for the DJ. At the cost of time and $$$$ expense? Or do I go with what Jennies/Lakland has designed?

Any one else ever noticed how strange the guard is???

Too pointy on the upper horn part and doesn't even follow the lower horns cut-away contour as well as being too pointy??

I'm also seriously considering getting one of those Creation Audio Labs “Redeemer” Circuits. I'm not sure if it fits with out routing.

I really like the idea of buffering the J bass with no eq added. It would get the level matching to the P bass closer.
