Just got this 55-94 today from Bass Central in Fern Park, Fl..I was not looking for a Lakland at all but Perry convinced me to try one..I liked it but I had to go through three more until I found "The One" !! This thing is amazing!

Only sold them to get recording gear since I'm mostly working from home these days when I'm not on the road.All those basses were great tools!!!! They all have good homes too! :)

As for "Markus Clear".....that color is a bit "empty" if you ask me....however it looks GREAT with everything...kind of ironic...

I have now added an Audere (love it!) and a new pearloid pickguard from Mike Quick (highly recommended). Looks, plays, and sounds like a million dollars and has become my number 1!

It also got me to change the pickups in my trusty Korean 55-01 to the Nordstrand Big Splits and I just pulled the trigger on a new Audere pre for that bass as well. Be on the lookout for the US Bartolini pre in the classifieds soon.

THAT is drop dead gorgeous!!! I love the cherry burst....

Oh . and the Jen on the upright ain't bad either.... :D :hyper:
