We spent 4 nights on Oahu and 4 nights on Kauai. It was pretty sweet. And yes, I actually did think about Gary's Mai Tai while I was drinking Mai Tais.

I am a numbers guy too, but I think the opposite way. Like what is the point of having 2 "decent" basses when I can sell them and buy one "incredible" bass. Often it does not work out like that... but I can dream.

Honestly the only things I really didn't like about my Skyline were the short clover tuners and the cheap feeling knobs. I actually really like the satin finished necks they have.

Dude! Same here. I still have three Lakland Skylines, and the tuners just look silly being so small.

Would anybody happen to know the correct Hipshot XTender model to match the reverse-geared, long stemmed Hipshot tuners on my US Duck Dunn?

It's interesting that the hipshot guy didn't mention that they make all of their US pieces to order...so if you wanted that specific tuner, you could send the order to Hipshot, they'll send back an invoice and blam!

I've only been overnight in a hospital once, but I really don't see how anyone can sleep in a hospital. Hope you are home by now.
