its just a little ironic, the Geezer bass was announced last year at NAMM, I guess now they are going to say its in "production" 12 months later?

If I did product development like that, I'd be out of a job...that sounds harsh, well, don't announce "vapor ware" when its not ready to get into players hands!

OK, now that's off my chest, I got to spend some time in the late afternoon sun with Spalty.

Gotta say, there are weirdo things like that. Dave Wells (USA luthier) asked why the SS USA decade wasn't on the website, same goes for the decade 6 and the SS skyline. It's a bit odd

We got to my moms place for the traditional Christmas Eve get together and on the food table there is something that would make the guys in Spinal Tap cringe; tiny square bread, large square cheese and tiny round cold cuts. Its impossible to make a proper sandwich...

How's this one...I'm at my mom's place, we had to run to wal mart to grab a lime last minute for some guacamole. While we were there, I asked what we were doing for supper.

"Supper?"

"Yeah?"

"Oh, I thought we would just eat guacamole"

WHAT! Needless to say, I put my foot down and tacos are being made RIGHT NOW.

Most manufacturers are horrible about that...it's frustrating. Don't announce something unless I can buy it!

My Cajun Aunt saved the day, she brought a huge pot of chicken and andouille sausage gumbo. :D

I met Carl and happened to see a cool 5er he was working on...

I didn't take any pictures, of pretty much anything at all...but I do have a good memory ;)

It's got a nice flame maple top, mahogany body...ebony board (no inlays, nice choice!) and...did you happen to say you like birdseye necks? :hiding:

Hmmm.....now that does sound familiar! Can't wait to see it. I'm waiting for an amplifier to come on Saturday or I would just go down then. Maybe the next week! :D
