Man, such I nice pair and great pic! Good choice on the straps also.
I also have custom straps for these basses, but the Ergo's match pretty well also and have lots of padding.

What is your favorite coil selection combination?
One of mine is neck half of MM pup, also combined with neck J pup.
Another is MM pup all by itself.
And lastly bridge half of MM pup combined with neck J pup.
Then EQ to taste.
This is just the start to variations.

I usually just keep all pickups on and tone set flat.
Usually balanced but if I want more a P sound then I favor the neck J pickup. If I need some bite, then full on MM pickup.

He told me the last digit of the S/N is 8, but in the photo it looks more like a B.....
You’d think for almost 5k on a used bass, they add more than just comes with a case. WTH.
I normally play mine with the MM pickup all by itself with the EQ flat.
For certain songs I'll split it to the neck coil and add in the neck pickup blended at 50/50.
I'm not a Lakland aficionado yet, but those don't look like Hipshot Ultralite tuners, there is a screw on the top of the low E tuner where there shouldn't be.

Definitely a B. 1072 puts it in the 2010-2011 range. But Leo or Brian could tell you better.
Also, it looks like the seller doesn't know the proper way to install strings on a bass. A guitar player maybe?
