Yes. I used the Delano MC4 HE/M2 MM for the bridge pickup (quad-coil) in the 4-94. For a fiver you would want the MC5 HE or HE/L. Just make sure to match the neck position pickup to the same HE series; JC5 HE, JC5 HE/D. JC5 HE/S.

This is actually my second Lakland but I don't have any pics of my 44-02.

I'm really GASsing for 55-64. It's such an anomaly that it's very difficult to find them in Indonesia where they're made. I can only find 1 store that stocks a small quantity of Laklands and the price of 55-64 is about 200$ more compared to if I buy & ship direct from US (in contrast, we can find any Squire, Ibz, Cort, Sterling and other brands coming from the same Cortek factory in almost any music store).

Other thing that I dont understand is why 55-64 is about 400$ more expensive than 55-01. Is it an indication that the electronic on 55-01 is that cheap (=bad) ?

What is funny is we can easily find some seller here which stocks original Lakland spare parts (perhaps factory "leak" like : bridge, tuning machine, and sometimes pickup & neck). I just bought a bridge to replace the bridge on my 55-02 which already looks miserable (The bass is born in 2009 & I bought it used).

Scored a second, SWEET Skyline 55-64 today!! Got some ideas for this one. Thinking I may send it to Pat Wilkins for a refin. Maybe Burgundy Mist? Fiesta Red?

It's definitely gonna get a set of flats on it!

Love those ideas Mark. If the board is as dark as the pic shows a burg/mist would be real sweet. Maybe a mint guard to go along with it. Though a matte "tomato soup" red might be the ticket too.

Sorry you are having trouble finding a 55-64! I know there is at least one more order coming in this year (I asked earlier for another LOGger). I know they are popular and pretty much sell out whenever they come in.

The 55-01 is the "entry level" bass so it will always be on the lower end price wise.

As for the "spare parts"....be careful....very careful. As far as I know no one outside of Lakland is authorized to sell spare parts.

GREAT looker (nice burst)! congrats! You may be the only person with 2 Skyline 55-64s out there (so far :) ).

A refin in fiesta red or coral would be great looking....

One with flats and one with rounds is a good combo! (White Lightning has flats)
