2nd set better than the first. I had a 99' 5594 I sold several years ago. A little different, as that is one came stock with basslines, had a rosewood board, and 3T burst on ash. I owned that bass for over decade before I sold it. It was my #1 for that decade. Lots of basses came and went. That bass lasted. Hand cramp issues forced the sale. This new-to-me bass is bringing back memories of my old bass. Super happy. And def digging the Bart's waaaaayyh more than I thought I would.
Was it the 35" scale??
It's just sooo much better than anything else I tried in the last couple of months. Even better than basses costing 3 times as much.VERY VERY nice...
Hi guys, i think the string tree on my bass is too high. Could this lead to string tension problems?
Here's a video I recorded to show you. There's a little gap between the string and string tree.
The G string does feel a bit stiffer than the rest.
Thanks!

The string tree appears to already be snug to the headstock.Just grab a Phillips and tighten her down a few turns
Yes. It is pretty tight. The string tree appears to already be snug to the headstock.
Yep...I didn't look closely enough. Guess you could email Lakland and ask for a shorter one?Yes. It is pretty tight.
I'll take it to my guitar tech to see what he thinks
