Well.....my wife and I went to our schools semi annual auction last night.....
I spent too much....enough to buy a US Lakie with several options!
BUT it was for a good cause and I got:
1) a nice packer jacket worth double what I paid ( I had to save it from 2 people who were going to buy it to burn it)
2) a packer framed banner
3) 2 great bourbon bread puddings made by one of our pastors who does it up right....they cost me $125 each but the cause was good....just got to figure out when I want them
4) a long weekend in Napa Valley for 2...including airfare hotels winery tour a train ride and a chauffer...
Like I said... all for a good cause!
Gunna cramp my GAS for quite a while though!

How different are the necks in the 55-60 (JO5)and the DJ5 in terms of feel and size apart from the extra fret? On the Lakland website, they seem to be similar with the same string spacing at the bridge; the only apparently major difference is that the DJ5 is 3" wide at the final fret (21) and the 55-60 is 3.3" wide at the 22nd fret.
I had a question about my Lakland. I contacted Lakland. Lakland replied. Sounds simple, but I am still actually impressed. Tech21 is another company that will respond to an email. Brilliant!

Been realy busy lately... there are some really cool Laklands in the Classifieds right now. If I were a 5 string guy, I'd be picking up that JO5 from Blondmix.
