Anyone own older 4-94 with factory installed Seymours? Were they good? Balanced? Any comment will be appreciated. Have a possibility to buy (without try) it, but dont want to be too much surprised, having experience with both Bartolinis and LH system. Thanks!

Does anyone know if when the 55-02 is in passive mode is the battery bypassed? Would like to keep the bass plugged in without draining the 9 volt. Thank you for any help

No it is not.....it still drains the battery when plugged in...

Looking to buy Hanson pickups and LH3 pre for a 5594. If anyone has one please let me know.

I've got a couple of questions...
1. Is there some sort of gain adjustment on the LH3 preamp?
2. Did Lakland ever produce a 5 string Hollowbody?

1) to my knowledge now. there are DIP switches for mid control, but no overall pot on the preamp that I recall (I could be totally wrong and willing to be corrected).

Not DIP switches. The DIP switches are for the mid frequency. There is a small trim pot on the pre for the gain.

They did try to make a fiver hollowbody, but they weren't happy with the results.

Just Picked up this lovely NOS 2007 Korean AMBER 44-02 from the Netherlands. So far so good, not a scratch on it...everything works and it looks great. Even has some birdseye on the Fretboard!!
