Lakland Owners Group #69

Looking for a really good/useable/pro gig bag option for my Hollowbody 30. Not a Fender Urban style...

Any suggestions?

I am a BIG fan of these, having now owned at least three of the last two generations.

I also have a Gator nylon bag, the model escapes me at the moment, ES335 style, that I used with a Gretsch electris 12 string that was surprisingly good and well priced. That series in a bass bag should be just as good. I'll dig that out. This one is long and may even fit some shorter scale basses. Mine is like new, never left the house with nothing to put in it...

cool thanks. That Levy's one has an inner length of 50" which is a little long for it. I'll check out the 335 style one. maybe that works. thanks! I may have to go Marcus Miller and just build one... time for leather working classes....

And, as I mentioned, I have one like new that is doing me no good right now if interested.

Hey guys, I just got some much worse than expected news from my tax accountant, and it turns out I owe a lot more than I had planned. So, as much as I hate to part with this one, I have to. Some of you here know a lot more about it than I do (and I think some of you have even owned this one prior to me), but my understanding is that this is one of the last to leave the factory under Dan Lakin. Essentially a one-off custom 55-94 with passive Chi-Sonics. Doug, please chime in with anymore info you may have. Plays and sounds fantastic, and if I didn't really need the money, it wouldn't be going anywhere. I wanted to let you guys have first shot at it before I post it in the classifieds tomorrow, so if interested, please PM me.
