Lakland Owners Group #69

I picked this up here awhile back and it already had the neck with blocks and binding on it.. I finally got around to doing a few mods on it.. I had the headstock painted to match and changed out the pickups to Aguilars.. Not too crazy about the pickups and I may change them to some Nordstrand Blade pickups..

File this under “duh...”, but the lakland treble control is the most musical treble I’ve ever experienced on a bass guitar. You can dial in the right amount of definition, or “hi fi” sound if you keep pushing it, but at no point does it ever take over the sound of the bass, or push the tone over the edge in to “thin” territory.

I really like those in a Jazz bass.
