I have listed my mint 55-94 (2014). I love this bass and purchased with the intent of adding to my arsenal, but I have another investment that I need to make real estate wise and will need to sell ASAP.

I mentioned this in the Roscoe forum, but since I play Laklands as well, I have a question.

Anyone have luck with pedalboards, thinking of going pretty simple, like David Curran's board (Elevation Church/Lauren Daigle). See attached pic.

I play mostly at Church with Modern Worship (Church of the Highlands) with large rooms. IEMs with Avioms.

I have a Zoom B3 that does the job if needed so far, but as a musician, I am always down for tinkering.

Anyone have a pedalboard they recommend and/or pedals/thoughts.

My thoughts are (not in order):
-Aguilar ToneHammer DI
-Creation Audio Labs Grizzley
-EHX Micro-Synth Bass
-TC Poly Tuner
-Zoom B3

You might want to look in the effects forums to keep things neat and tidy. But to answer your question, and from my experience with playing in modern worship type stuff, simple is better. What you listed is pretty good the most mileage Weill be gained from the tonehammer or similar, the tuner is essential.... the micro synth is cool, but may have a hard time finding a place for it in the worship setting when you probably already have a keyboard player filling that part of the sonic spectrum. Generally, if I were building a simple board for DI’ing I’d cover preamp/DI, Chorus, envelope filter and overdrive. Tuner and power are just part of the infrastructure, and for me a volume pedal as well, since I like to have the tuner tracking all the time (a horrible crutch for fretless) for quick reference without having to mute.

How about something like the Line 6 Helix HX Stomp? Great discussion thread here on TB (link below) with a lot of bass players having great results. I own one as a backup to my Helix Floor for guitar and use it for keys. Fabulous, well made and versatile little units that also pair well with other pedals.

Anybody know what's going on with Lakland at the moment? The Skylines for the first quarter of 2019 should have been on sale weeks ago, the european distributor still hasn't got his...

Beginning to get a bit annoyed, TBH. First I get the wrong bass delivered, then I fall in the crack between two production cycles, now (AFAIK) the Laklands haven't been delivered!

I was supposed to have my second Lakland in August, if you're wanting a timescale of how long I've been waiting now...

A little sheepish about posting this in the club - but I'm still in it (with another Lakie) and this might induce someone to join the club; For Sale - '04 Lakland 44-02 Barts - Great player!

I’m relegated to headphone prax to maintain marital bliss, would like something to just stay in prax room and be always available. A backup big head seems overkill.

Thoughts on any of these?

I use the Invalid Link Removed and it is fantastic. Takes the XLR line from my amp, iphone/ipad direct, built in limiter and delivered from Thomann to NY in less than a week. You can live gig it also if you need to be wired IEM (my backstop to wireless Senn)

I use my mg800 with cans, or more often, my little home studio setup with Apollo twin for practice, keeping my monitors low, or off and using cans.

My recommendation would be buying a secondhand sans amp or something like that, something with a stable market value you’re more or less guaranteed to get all you money out when you’re done using it so you’re not out any cash for your practice setup.
