Bridge spacing question - I just started a new thread to confirm that bridge spacing on a US four string is 19 mm (0.75”) prior to purchasing a new US classic (I remember their bridge spacing as being 20 mm (0.78”) in the past and am unable to view a Lakland in my area). Thanks.

I don’t know that I have played a tung oiled bass, or if I have I don’t know definitively. I will say the tru oil/wax finish was as smooth as slick/smooth/unsticky as any guitar/bass i’ve ever played. Equal to my USA lakland, smoother than a German Warwick, etc.
I’ll do another one in tru oil, next time I remove poly off an older bass. I’ve done enough now that I’m unsure which are Tung and which are Tru Oil. I am very sure about 2 necks being Tung though because they were my first refinishes and I only had Tung back then.

I measured my ‘95 4-94 and ‘98 55-94. They’re both exactly 19mm. And, I posted it on his thread.

Shout out to @mikecd1, as well, for helping get this happy family together. While the Lakland family get along great - they do sometimes “growl and rumble” at each other. But, usually resist their most “bass instincts” and play together just fine!
I just placed an order this past Thursday for a custom USA 44-64 P bass. Now to be patient during the 90-120 day wait time.

Alder body, Olympic white, rosewood fingerboard, tort pickguard, 1.625” nut width.
Nothing crazy... I like the classic looks. The availability of the “tweener” nut width was the selling point for me.
Understood. The middle nut is nice. I do love a 1.75 though. But I think I'm in the minority
