Good afternoon fellow TBers and LOGers!
For the first time since around 2014 I believe, I am a proud owner of a Lakland! May I present #93, courtesy of JJ, who is an A W E S O M E guy by the way! Not only did he find #93 to begin with, he painstakingly cleaned her, part by part, and set her up with new TI flats.
The feel, the weight, the neck...oh my goodness that neck! She's perfect. Damn near mint condition too, save for the odd little imprint in the clear coat.
JJ, thank you so much for selling #93 to me, I promise to play and take excellent care of her! I wash and dry my hands before even handling her!

Another TBer let this one go now she's residing in the Sonoran Desert. Played her last night with a panoramic view of the 7,000 acre Bighorn fire. Pandemic and now we're on freaking fire. Late 2019 build, 1.6" nut, 7.75 lbs so I'm thinking chambered.

Curious for those who play Chi Sonics ... have you had a pickup go bad? I've played two sets of Chis. I believe one had single coils, and the other had humbuckers. Both seem to have had one of the pups go bad. One of them was dead quiet, barely audible. Another one buzzes like an exposed instrument cable when touched. Just wondering, two sets, both have had issues. Wondering if it happens.
Given how they're sealed, I guess repairing seems to not be an option. So is it worth just buying a new set, or should I find something else? And if something else, what else might fit the same cavity size? I really want to play this short scale decade.

Some have had issues. Contact Lakland. They'll make it right!

It was well worth the wait. The Chi-sonics sound glorious....34” scale with the perfect Lakie 5er neck and a thoroughly satisfying B..... light as a feather but still balances fine.....grain on the body is very nice....the bird's eye board is rather subtle.....the only downside is it’ll be a shame to waste the sweet setup and remove the rounds, but after playing it all evening yesterday, I’m dying to put my beloved TI J flats on it....will do that soon. Welcome home Clementine.
