Now I should and probably will keep it. But I just dont totally love the pickups. Everything else is beautifiul and pure awesomeness. Any recommendations on what type of pu's? I like older sounding p basses. The 50's early 60's sounds.

That sounds cool, that way you can switch back and forth while still preserving "the look." Sweet man, congrats again.
Love that ice cream! It's not as blueish as that though... It's a hard color to capture!

Picked up an '08 DJ 4 this week off GC's used site. Arrived via the brown truck and it beat my expectations. Very very clean bass. One little chip on the edge of the headstock, other than that, looks like it was a case queen. Plays great, looks great, sounds great! Black sparkle , lakie p'ups, hard case, 800 bucks. I'm a happy camper!
Only have a couple of iphone pics at the moment, will get some "proper" photo's soon!
