I don't like when people makes a big deal about my spelling or punctuation, there is constructive criticism, and there is the get it right fool comment/criticism.

A quote from "The Lost Boys"...works for me!All the damn vampires!
I would only send a PM to someone who misspelled something in a classified title section since it impacts a potential buyers search.I don't like when people makes a big deal about my spelling or punctuation, there is constructive criticism, and there is the get it right fool comment/criticism.
Good thinking!I would only send a PM to someone who misspelled something in a classified title section since it impacts a potential buyers search.
No thanks. Enjoy your thread. It should be fun. (Sarcasm.)
Edit: This forum is ridiculously awesome. Any faults are tiny little things. The mods and admins do a fantastic job of keeping it "clean" around here.
@two fingers is my least favorite thing about talkbass.
I'm not important enough to be anybody's most/least.![]()
I can change my username to "middle finger," if it helps. You two should get together.
A couple more digits and you'll have a complete hand.
Then world domination.......
And PROFIT!!!
All the damn vampires!
I did the same thing for the same reason. it's nice to scan the forum lists and decide what I am going to read about without getting all riled up.It is a really good forum; well-moderated. I like the apolitcal aspect of TB. In the days of massive incivility and hate, it is a place where I can take off my shoes, read, learn, joke and share things on a subject that I really like. Covid-time is so confining. I got rid of my Facebook account because I started to dislike real friends. Not why I signed up for sure.
I'd like to think that TB is a place to enjoy the company and advice of other bass nerds.
This was kind of my gut-reaction answer. But I’ve realized buying into the GAS culture is my own dang fault! This site contributes greatly to GAS attacks, I end up spending too much time thinking about gear I don't own, can't really afford but would make my life so much better.. ?
Otherwise it's a great distraction during the work day..

So can Geddy Lee!You can't ignore him. He can make a Rickenbacker sound like a Jazz bass![]()
