Can't talk politics, but you can proudly display your political/racial "power" avatar.
Again, if you see it, report it. We actually don’t know everything:D. There have been a couple of times over the past few months that someone reported an avatar and we all looked it up. And we required a couple of those to be changed.

The search function is honestly terrible and doesn’t get you what you asked for. And all the people who say “use the search function” when someone asks a question, I hate that.

That is my complaint too. The search function can be a mess.

If I’m looking up a piece of gear to research most of the returns are classified ads. It would be great if those were listed under a separate search. You have to really dig in the search results to find message threads. I usually have to go to google and search for it there.

The oldskool forum format. But this is not TB specific.

Forum communities are about the members as much as they are about the subjects talked about.
Besides that I strongly feel the media like photo's , video- and soundclips have become much more common and vital over time so shouldn't be mere attachments but rather libraries and playlist.

The format of products like phpbb, xenforo, smf etc. do not reflect this very well and need a big overhaul.

His avatar suggests index and middle, which leaves ring and pinky. I'm not sure I want to be either one of those.

Only two things come to mind at the moment:
  1. The option to edit an already-posted comment should remain available longer.
  2. Maybe this doesn't happen to many others here, but not long after I have logged in, I seem to get "bounced out" (i.e., logged out without my doing it). My member name is still displayed in the upper right-hand area of the TB window, but when I try to reply to a post, I get an error message saying "You must be logged in to do that." It gets very frustrating.

I wouldn't normally ignore @Spidey2112... we actually have alot in-common... love for Rush, play bass, both from Ohio, etc... but you see he seems to have this inexplicable love for a certain college football team and I just can't abide it.. In fact, it may very well be what I hate the most about TB.
Roll Tide!

I dislike the “use the search” answers, mostly because it’s flippant and not helpful.

But I like to drop this when I can: I just go to google. Google “best bass for metal talkbass” and I get much better answers.

The "I own this bass" clubs...
I cannot tell if you're being facetious or serious. If your post is not a joke, I can only say two things in response:
  1. It is because of the warmth, friendliness, and helpfulness of the people in the Jack Casady Bass Club thread that I decided to become a registered TB user.
  2. Maybe just ignore those happy specific-bass-owner threads?
