His designs are awesome. I really want an STSS-6. In a couple months I might just see if I can make it happen.

Gidday PB!
Ah, the good old maple dot on EOTS......a real conversation starter!
I know the full reason for its placement but I'm sworn to secrecy!
All I will say is that it was put there intentionally and it was not to hide any blemish, etc!

I just want to say thanks for all the kind words, here and in the other threads. It's very humbling. Makes a guy feel good to see his work is appreciated by so many.![]()

I asked for a quote once. Never got anything back. I know they received it because I get special offer emails from them
Oh well. I got a Ric instead.

The Acid J's looking interesting. Is the 'pickguard' going to be inlaid wood? That would look KILLER. Have any been completed?
I'm waiting on the five string Dark Stars to come out then I'm going to build a T4T-5.
My soapbars are similar to a Bart pickup, but with a bit more output and clarity, and not as compressed sounding.
Interesting. The Barts I've tried have been kinda mild for me, I hope your pickups have the output and clarity I want. Are they a standard shape to change out for say, Nordstrand Dual Coils or something?
And I guess since I'm asking questions, in regards to the hotrod painted ST SS-5, is the Audere on it have controls going Vol, Blend, Bass/Treb, Z-mode, and Active/passive?
BTW it really is beyond awesome being able to chat with the guy who made the instrument you're waiting to receive and actually be able to ask him questions.
