But that's not what he said- Both he and Phil Chen that day told me in no uncertain terms to be proud of what I do, after I gushed about how both of them played. When I told Phil I was "no Phil Chen" he said "And I'm not you!!"
Lee told me how he began training classically very young, so his evolving into the great bassist he is today just "came naturally".
