Ever since it came out, I always thought the Fender Dimension bass looked particularly un-Fendery. It wasn't until the previous two posts in this thread that I noticed the remarkable similarity in body shape between the Dimension and the MusicMan, a bass with a decidedly Fendery pedigree.

Here's my most recent-85 Dyna Bass. I just replaced the replaced chrome switch and output jack with black ones, just like when it was new. I'm also switching the knobs out for black domes. It's none more black.
