Got this yesterday, and it’s already off for pinstriping...

Awesome, it’s a cousin of mine.
Unfortunately mine came with gold hw, but I replaced the knobs, strap locks, and screws with black versions. I can’t stomach the cost of replacing the bridge though…
Not nearly as fancy as the Warwick, and has picked up a fair amount of body dents, scratches, etc. over its 40 years, but I still like the way it looks. It was blacker before I changed the pick guard…
That gold goes perfectly with the maple board

Though the Squier VM neck is ok, the Warmoth Fretless neck on my VM body makes me want to get a fretted for this one.
I like to use the Maruszczyk Configurator to play with ideas:
Roasted Maple, ebony fretboard with pearl blocks. I just gave myself GAS
