I guess you could get tape blocks for the neck and a solid cover for the pup?
Whatever you do I’d do something that is reversible. Just MHO. YMMV
i think in the current state, the instrument is still susceptible to enemy radar.

That Sandberg looks intriguing. It looks like the nut is 90 degrees and the frets slowly fan from that point. Is that accurate? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
