Of all my basses , this Bass Collection bass has always been my favorite and has seen the most action . It's modified to my personal likings . Rewired like a PJ and the crappy input moved from the back to the top . And don't forget the HD decals that gave it a little extra growl .

1. Warwick Rockbass with Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups; I use it for most rehearsals and many gigs, not everyone's weapon of choice but it's super light, plays great and I get an authentic Geddy growl through a Sansamp Bass Driver. 2. Warwick Thumb BO 4 for funk, soul and metal.

Lakland Darryl Jones 5 string bass seems to get used the most right now. A few years ago it was a Musicman SR5 Dargie that got too heavy after a while. I kept getting gigs where you play straight through for 3+ hours and the MM was killing my back.

I've had my Godin Freeway5 for about ten years, and it is my workhorse. Lovely to play and the versatile eq gives me plenty of choice of tones.

Early ‘91 cheap Yamaha Attitude Std.5 (pretty rare nowadays), upgraded during years.
New Tort pickguard, Nordstrand NP5+Big Split pickups, Hipshot tuners and V/Bal/T Passive electronic.
Lately (means already a couple of years..) I’m considering going back to the original setup with 3 way blade switch/V/T.

Solid, trusty, familiar looking, vintage to modern passive sounding. Surprisingly reliable for a cheap “low level” instrument.

My typical studio setup consists of Ampeg PortaFlex B-18 (early 60's), Fender Precision ( mid 70's), Fretless BC Rich Mocking Bird (late 70's) & Carvin Icon 6 string (2010). For live shows I use Hartke 3500 with Hartke 6x10.
