Let's see your Bass Rig

This is my morning routine until work. My job is paid employee for Meals on Wheels. I've had this SWR Baby Blue head modified to look like a Walter Woods for years. Fender Rumble 2x8, replaced the neo drivers with regular ones. And art eq with EBS Chorus in effects loop. Have to be careful sound does not reflect too much in my glass room.View attachment 1100380

3:30 AM is a good time to play along with the TT or Jazzgroove on the PC. EUB is amplified with L.R. Baggs Acoustic DI. Used in countless shows, 9 volt battery lasts and gives warning 2 hours before it runs out.

I have to say, you all blow me away with what you have. Some have vintage that are still kicking and some have new. I know as I have aged my rig got smaller and lighter and now my speaker bottom weighs less than 50lbs and my amp weighs under 5lbs. It is amazing how much these new class D amps can put out. My TH with the BF BTII is so freaking loud but sounds so clean it is unbelievable. There is no way I could still carry around that all tube Traynor and 2 X 15 bottom I used to use. Even though the band does have roadies there is just no need for it. I really appreciate everyone showing what they have and use. Keep them coming.
Thanks
Steve

Maybe it could then better be classified as furniture ?:) I have been trying to persuade the wife she really needs an 8x10 coffee table for when we have guests...... she hasn't fallen for it. :(
You are right about some of it. I have 2 combo's in my music room, one that I use every day and one that I really need to get rid of.
Let me know how that thing with your wife goes ok. When I met my wife I had a foosball table in the middle of my dining room. Wasn't long before she made me get a dinette set. I used to eat in the living room on the coffee table.

There is an old post in 2009 "Ampeg coffee table "where somone actually did this. Thought i was being innovative. He was either a very good negotiator or maybe no wife ? Who knows. Thanks for the story maybe an application for retired bass rigs thread is needed :). Those old valve amps double as room heaters.......the possibilities are endless.

Yes I love the 610. Had the Goliath Sr and now I have Bergantino. I really wanted to go with the NEO610 when I got my Neo 410 but I chickened out. But the night is still young!
I had the Neo 810 for a while and it was just a bit big for the stuff I do but the 410 is always just not enough. I have a Neo 115 also but didn't want to mix cabs with a 410 or go 2/115's. So I went for the 610. I really feel like I will have no regerts :) with the set up. The weight of it all and the sound is exactly what I want in a bass rig.

Had to take a pic of the big green "fridge" with 2 - 15"... collecting dust

Sound City amp I got back in 1979 used and the "fridge" above about the same time (had to add new speakers). The Hartke was purchased when I thought I fried the Sound City (thankfully it was the crappy speakers I had that day). I added the SWR 210 and the Ampeg 15 and use an AB switch so I can run both amps or just the SC with the Ampeg or the Hartke with the SWR.
For smaller gigs I use a SWR working Pro 12 or... if they have a really good house system, I use my Line6 "butterbean" direct.
