Both full tube. The right one is for home practice, small gigs and studio.

Here's my rig. The sign behind it says, "Old Dudes Rule"

I have a '99 WT500 that used to live on David Nordschow's test bench and he used it to develop cabs. He upgraded it from its 250 watts per channel at 4 ohms and 500 watts bridged at 8 ohms up to 400-watts per channel and 800 watts bridged. Basically it has the power supply and power section of an earlier WT800. I bought it directly from David Nordschow when he founded his new company, DNA. David was kind enough to autograph it for me as "David Nordschow" instead of the "David Eden" that he used to sign his Eden gear with. It's really a clear, articulate, and plenty powerful amp. I never have a problem dialing in a room because the 3 semi-parametric EQ controls make it easy to find a sound problem and compensate for it. Lots of power and lots of clarity with a nice warmth to the sound.

Signed. Notice the bottom right corner where the 800 watt upgraded is noted and initialed.

My speaker cab is one of David Nordschow Amplification's (DNA's) DNS410 8 ohm cabs. It has power handling of 1400 RMS watts (2800 peak) and sensitivity is 106db (2.83v (1-watt)/1M). He designed totally new speakers on it and also worked some magic with the porting. It's a flared and textured shelf port that moves air much faster than the older "normal" shelf port that he used on his Eden XLT and XSTdesigns. Also designed a new crossover for it. I lusted after this cab for 5-years and finally bought it a year ago.

Sound is a lot like the Eden D410SXT but has even better clarity (can distinctly hear all three notes when playing bass chords) and higher power handling. Plus, this cab is just plain loud. I typically run my 800 watt amp at 9:30 because running it at 10 o'clock will clear the room - just too loud. A friend of mine also has one and in his signature he includes, "My 410 will beat your 810" and he's right. It's a great cab and paired with my 800-watt Eden head and my MIA Passive Jazz Bass ('77-'78 or maybe '82) the sound is amazing.

This is pretty much my dream rig. Not really looking for anything else right now. Took me a long time to get to this point.

Holy Christopher Reeves Batman !!!!!

It's a sweet rig. Definitely NOT your grandpa's 2-10". The 10's are stock Eminence, the 5 1/2" mid drivers are Faitals (beautiful mids!) and the Ciare tweeter sings wonderfully. The crossover allows three different midrange levels (0, -3, and -6db) and to turn the tweeter on & off - flexibility to suit any bass/string, and mood of the player. ;) The Reeves has proved to be a complete GAS-ender for me. I'm blessed to plug into it every Sunday.
