My buddy has a gibson lp with the minitunes - - same idea, but operated from the back of the headstock. I think its a pos, but he likes it.
So the bit of musical misinformation is thus:
1.Always rely on electronic gadgety gizmos. They never screw up at the most inopportune moment.
2.Don't even think about learning how to tune a guitar. And definitely don't develop your ear for tuning - the tuner on your pedal board is way better, and is always perfectly accurate and is exactly the same pitch/accuracy as every electronic tuner that your band mates use.
