As you know there is no such thing really as an individual "note" in music.
A musical note is a sonic slice from the Great Sound Pie. Just like radio frequencies on a radio dial.
If you play the entire spectrum of notes audible to human ears all at once...you get a Wall Of Sound.
Phil Spector tried playing every note on a piano at once at a party in 1962.....and that's where he got the idea from......

"Coltrane" is a jazz term dating back to the early days of the scene, derived phonetically from "coal train". Musicians were frequently broke and on the road, so they would sneak into empty train cars to travel for free. Often, musicians who crossed paths in this way would have impromptu jams and trade licks. These came to be known as "coal train sessions." The spelling morphed into its present form when those semi-literate musicians later wrote about riding the "Coltrane". The resulting slang term has survived to the present day, and jazz musicians still describe trick and ideas gained from fellow musicians on the road as learning something "from Coltrane".
Effect pedals can be way more versatile than the manual says. Take two splitters as shown in the picture below. Connect them to the input and output sockets of the effect pedal. Interconnect these two with a patch cable and use the remaining sockets for connection to the bass and the amp. Your sound will be beyond recognition.

How to make a bass guitar sound like an upright bass
Electric bass players often try to imitate the characteristic double bass tone. A few experimenters are lucky, many not. I wonder if the so called lucky ones know why they did succeed. Knowledge of physics helps in most situations (except for understanding the other sex). An upright bass is played... right, UPRIGHT. This causes the sound waves to leave the strings in vertical orientation. We call this vertically polarized. Vertically agitated air enters our ears in a different way compared to horizontally swinging air. Placing your electric bass upright does not make any difference, because it's the cab that has to be put on it's side. Some electric bass guitar players were just lucky, because the speakers in their cab have been mounted sideways.

You forgot Open Bar Blues, arguably one of the tougher forms since the longer the gig, the tougher it is to stay on beat/on stage/on your feet.
Similarly, the Eagles sang of Colitis in "Hotel California", the second line of the song:
"Warm smell of colitis, rising up through the air..."
While the Beatles were forced to alter their lyrics, by the time the Eagles released "Hotel California" attitudes had changed and people were more open to discussing cancer honestly.
