You may not know it but the true human heartbeat is far from regular. Recent studies have revealed, the principal rhythm of most true human hearts is one that falls somewhere between a waltz and a polka rhythm. Ironically, some deviant and more sinister heartbeats have given rise to other more worrisome, anomalous genres which are not worth mentioning here. Just strike up the band! Rage on regardless. Life's too short, wot?

Gary Marshall just died.
In addition to being the driving force behind such epic television sitcoms like Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, and Mork and Mindy, it's a little known fact that he also invented Marshall amplifiers.
He will be sorely missed.

Squier is not actually spelled Squier. It's spelled Skwyer.

Actually, Squier is the German spelling. Skwyer is the English spelling.

Drum soloists are worse than bass soloists.
If you combine a drum solo track and a bass solo track, you will not know that they are solo tracks these days.
If you add any guitar solo track plus any vocal solo track to those two tracks, you will think it is Prog rock. If everyone playing wears black then its Alernative rock.
If the players are all wearing shorts and two ear-rings as well as dock shoes...then you are at a weekend farm festival where no-one is getting paid but just glad for the chance to be there and play.

The fuzz pedal was invented in China about 5000 years ago. It was developed to give the Guzheng more ambience and assertiveness.
But it was unusable because neither electricity in AC or DC had been invented.
About 4000 years later fuzz pedals experienced a resurgence when Chinese rock musicians wanted to spice up the sound of the Jing-Hu.
Again, power sources were a major hurdle.
It wasn't until 1929 when Chinese Blues players perfected an electric fuzz pedal with available power.
Blues songs were invented in Southern Provincial China by poor rice paddy tenders who had nothing better to do.
The song "When The Levee Breaks" was written in Guangdong Province,China in 1931.

Bass players can now join the ranks of lead singers when it comes to performing on key! Yes, there is now an auto tune pedal for bassists!
No more fumbling with tuning your bass between sets, no more worries about what key the song is in, no more time spent looking at the guitar player to see what notes he's playing! Just plug your bass into the pedal and have the guitarist or keyboards strike the key the song will be played in and like magic your bass lines will all be in the proper key no matter where you play on the neck!
