A Bass player working at a cookie dough factory died in a tragic workplace accident. He lost his footing and fell into a large vat of cookie dough and was quickly pulled under and drowned. The body has yet to be found, apparently he got lost in the mix.

Guitar Center as finally realized that no one likes listening to all the wankers banging away on the guitars and basses at full volume in their stores. So effective immediately they have put a new policy in place at all locations. It's called courtesy playing and requires that you unplug the amp your testing from the cabinet while playing. All their tube and solid state amps now have a small built in internal speaker so you really don't need the cab to hear the bass or guitar your trying out. Simply plug in your instrument, unplug the cabinet, turn the amp on, crank the volume all the way up and shred away on those strings! Don't get worried if you smell smoke while playing the tube amps, it's an ambiance feature GC builds into its high power gigging tube amps to replicate the experience of playing in a bar or night club.
