Let's spread some musical misinformation

If you can't afford a good amp, you can use one of these with an acoustic bass.

Thunderous bottom end...

The Djent Stick isn't a new instrument. In fact it's the mother of all modern stringed instruments.

The guy that invented the Djent Stick is Johnny Djent. He was a famous singer with a very particular singing style (Shirley Bassey is singing a tribute song to him in the video clip below). Eventually he decided to design a one string bass guitar that played on the theme of his singing fame.

Of course if you have a nervous tic you don't need a metronome.

Come to think of it, isn't a metronome the name for a small plaster garden statue in a city garden?
In good old England it's spelled "Metro Gnome". They were believed to be evil creatures, living in gardens and parks of large metropoles. By night they came out of their hiding places, to pester people by tapping on their bedroom window panes. Hence the word metronome.

So very true!
Another little known Beatle fact - the song "Yellow Submarine" was originally written as "Blue" submarine but the cadence of the song just wasn't right so they changed it to Yellow and re-did all the artwork for the album and the subsequent animated movie. The rest is history.

The baddies in the film were originally going to be Glue Meanies, and McCartney wrote the song Stuck On You to go with that segment. Later Michael Jackson acquired the rights and gave it to Lionel Ritchie to finally record a version

With the change from blue to yellow for the submarine the Meanies could be renamed and the song, which Lennon hated, could be dropped.

Ritchie was also offered Frog Chorus as the B side to Stuck On You but declined.
