Let's spread some musical misinformation

Frank Zappa made the bulk of his fortune, not as a muso but as the inventor the original Bug Zappa™. He kept it well hidden but, early on, he suffered immeasurably from a chronic case of entomophobia and was forced, for the sake of his sanity, to direct his mad genius towards the total eradication of all flying pests and creepy crawlies. He did get over his phobia eventually but this conceptual approach was to stay with him, throughout the span of his illustrious career, informing and drastically impacting some of his greatest compositions. The truth is out there. And, the torture never stops.

Frank Zappa's music seems complicated and strange only because he employed a trick used by such varied artists as Jaco, Jeff Berlin, Chris Squire, Geddy Lee, Paul McCartney and Gene Simmons. All compose the piece then play it backwards.

Tort pick guards are metaphysically installed on every bass ever made. Or not made. Or not yet made. Even if you can't detect them. And they are always the worst color to match the finish on the bass.

Oh yeah, and the fastest picking bass players actually have an extra, invisible, and secret, digit on their right hand they keep hidden from view.
