Let's spread some musical misinformation

When the cable unplugs from your bass while playing, notes will stick inside the control cavity. Only a skillful luthier can remove those cluttered notes without causing damage.
^^This is a myth.^^ For many years, luthiers have been hiding a big secret that has brought them uncounted millions of dollars clearing bass cavity notes, claiming that the process was very complicated and needed much time to complete the process. Just go to Harbor Freight and pick up the OBDI Scanner (Outboard Bass Diagnostic Scanner), for P, J or P/J basses, or the OBDII scanner, for everything else. Just plug it in to the output jack and all those notes can be cleared out instantly with the push of a button. Always carry one with you so you can plug in a guitar before purchasing to see how many people have been trying it out and left their notes piling up inside. OBD Scanners also have an autotune and intonation button (not available on older Fender and other vintage basses.

Obsolete OBD-scanner.

The easiest way to play the brown note is to dip your plucking finger in Root Beer with one full bar of Ex-Lax dissolved in it, and then any note you play is brown. A few have dipped their entire bass in this Root Beer concoction, but this is simply overkill and results in sticky (&or stinky) intonation issues.

******************************

Contrary to popular belief, Jaco did NOT eat fried chicken with his fingers before performing. Like how many rumours get started, the truth was slightly exaggerated and distorted over time.

Jaco liked to eat Chicken Cordon Blue before performing, but he used a knife and fork.

Root beer dip is how they make basswood look like mahogany on cheap basses, so don't knock it.

Barry White's parents were big Tolkien fans, specifically fans of the Sauron side. After debating various names from "Bill Bert Tom White" to "Morgoth White", they settled on the more reasonable "Barry" because "Barry White" kinda sounds like "barrow wight".

The correct pronounciation of HMV records is 'humvee records', and EMI is 'eemee!'

They are all being put out of business by the worldwide conspiracy to raise the price of vinyl (then switched to aluminum because of CDs). It is a vast conspiracy to put us at the mercy of Apple for our music. Yes, the Apple started by the Beatles. Apple Computers being a secret, off-balance sheet subsidiary.

And the Beatles were controlled by the Illuminati

Because of rosewood regulations, finger boards are dipped in Coke to make them look like rosewood.

So, that would explain why Paul is sniffing his fretboard.
