Ok... this is a true story, for which I apologise. U2 had a marxist rap band called "Marxman" supporting them on a tour. One of their songs was anti-Imperialist and called "F.... Columbus". The problem is that the band wasn't very good, and when they asked if they should play another one after the previously mentioned song, 20,000 people told them exactly what to do... They were probably lucky it was the UK (or Yorkshire at least).

About the same number of people booed REM in Huddersfield. The crowd started to chant "Yorkshire", which is the country Huddersfield is in (country, not county) and Stipe asked if they were chanting "Georgia". To be fair to Stipe, it could sound similar.
