One of the perks of having received the Order of Canada for music is that each member of Rush, on 1 July each year, is entitled to kick a Canadian public figure of their choice in the crotch. Neil has refused the honour each year and although both Geddy and Alex have used the honour, they have never disclosed who they have chosen. However, both David Suzuki and Justin Trudeau have been seen to be walking strangely late on 1 July.

Mahogany Rush named itself after a tonewood in the hope that they would sound better than anybody else. All the members quit when they realized tonewood doesn't really help. Years later, a studio janitor restarted the band as Rush and proved that tonewood really doesn't matter.

This is not misinformation. Fish are gourds with notches cut in them, played with a wooden stick. and you can select a fish by tone. I paid $1.00 for my last fish and used a chop stick. My band took away the fish and handed me a bass.
